Welshpool 17-5 Rhyl

Rhyl and District RFC made to long trip in the snow showers to play Welshpool RFC. Fortunately there had been less snow than at places on route. With the conditions wet and the pitch very soft neither side were able to produce attractive rugby. With the numerous handling mistakes the game developed in to the power of the forwards. Welshpool's larger pack came out on top after stern defence from the young Rhyl side.
