Rhyl U11's played host to Llangefni, who despite having a depleted squad fulfilled the fixture with Rhyl loaning Llangefni 4 players. Rhyl continued in the same vain as the impressive win away to Colwyn Bay the week before, with a lightning start. Rhyl dominated the first half playing some excellent, expansive rugby bringing in to play some patterns of play developed in training, ending the first half with 52 unanswered points. Having spoken to the Llangefni coaching team at half time they were happy to continue with the game despite the scoreline. The second half didn't go all Rhyl's way with Llangefni playing some better rugby, however Rhyl continued to dominate the breakdown which provided good ball allowing the home team to score several more tries, final score 87 - 0.
It was another impressive display from the young Rhyl side demonstarting some clinical rugby. The coaching team was particularly impressed with the teamwork and spirit shown by the boys which culminated in 13 tries from 8 different players.
