With no matches played due to state of pitches since early December, the Under 7s and 8s from Rhyl were eager to get going again, and they didn't disappoint. In their last official match, the Under 7/8s narrowly missed out on a win, and this week, their sterling efforts were rewarded with a 7-6 victory against a strong Abergele side.

The Under 7s team didn't fare so well, losing out 8-3 to a mixed U7/8 Abergele squad. They all put in a great effort despite the cold weather and the first games of the new year started well.
