Despite the recent bad weather, Rhyl made an away trip to Anglesey to play Llangefni. Rhyl made a strong start with an early try from Lewis Jones. Rhyl continued to dominate the early exchanges with some good counter-rucking leading to quick ball. Some excellent running and passing from Oliver Roe led to Alfie Brown scoring in the corner. In a similar phase of play Oliver broke the gain line and put Alfie in for his second try of the game. Rhyl's strong running and excellent support play was too much for the home side with further first half tries from Liam Walker, Austin Jones and Leon Cotterill. Rhyl finished the first half 34 points up
Rhyl made four changes a half time and they started where they finished the first half with some good open running rugby. Once again excellent team play led to Sonny Williams scoring two second half tries with Miles Nosworthy adding a third. Rhyl finished the game scoring 53 unanswered points.
The coaching team were very pleased with the positive performance from the team particularly not conceding any points and with the general good support play.
